Supported Platforms

Amilere integrates with 5 platforms: Instagram (Business and Creator accounts), TikTok (Business accounts), YouTube (via Google OAuth), X (API v2), and Facebook (Page accounts). Each integration uses the platform's official OAuth flow with read-only permissions.

Instagram Setup

Navigate to Settings → Connected Platforms → Instagram. Click "Connect Instagram." You are redirected to Meta's OAuth page. Authorize Amilere to access your Instagram Business or Creator account. Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account, not personal. You can convert a personal account in Instagram Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account. After authorization, Amilere pulls your last 90 days of post data, stories engagement, and audience demographics.

If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, log into the correct one before authorizing. You can connect multiple accounts under separate workspaces.

TikTok Setup

Navigate to Settings → Connected Platforms → TikTok. Click "Connect TikTok." Authorize via TikTok's Business API OAuth flow. You need a TikTok Business account. Amilere accesses video performance data, audience insights, and trending audio data. Note: TikTok's API rate limits can slow the first data pull for large accounts.

YouTube Setup

Navigate to Settings → Connected Platforms → YouTube. Click "Connect YouTube." This uses Google OAuth. Log into the Google account that owns your YouTube channel. Amilere accesses video analytics, subscriber data, and audience retention metrics. For channels with multiple owners, the person who connects must be a channel manager or owner.

X and Facebook

Each follows the same pattern. Go to Connected Platforms, click Connect, and complete the OAuth flow. X uses API v2 and requires a developer-associated account. Facebook requires a connected Page via Meta OAuth for full analytics access.

Troubleshooting

If a connection fails, check these common issues. (1) Your account type must be Business or Creator, not personal. (2) Pop-up blockers may block the OAuth window. Allow pop-ups from amilere.com. (3) If you recently changed your platform password, re-authorize the connection. (4) Some platforms rate-limit new connections. Wait a few minutes and try again.
