Payout Terms
Last updated: June 2026
These Payout Terms explain how money moves through the Amilere deal rail. They form part of our Terms of Service. All fund-holding and payouts are processed by Stripe via Stripe Connect — Amilere is a marketplace and technology provider, not a bank, escrow agent, or money transmitter, and never holds your funds in its own bank account.
1. Funding a Deal
A brand funds the full deal amount — the agreed creator compensation plus the 5% Amilere service fee — before the creator begins work. Funds are charged via Stripe and held pending completion. A deal is not active until it is funded.
2. The Service Fee (5%)
Amilere charges a 5% service fee calculated on the agreed creator compensation and added on top as a buyer-side surcharge. The brand pays compensation + 5%; the creator receives the full agreed compensation (subject to holdback). The exact fee for a deal is shown before the brand funds it, and the fee in effect at funding governs that deal.
3. Verification & Release
When the agreed deliverable is posted, it is verified through our optimistic verification process. After verification and the close of the challenge window with no successful dispute, the creator’s payout is released through Stripe to the creator’s connected account.
4. Holdback
A portion of the creator’s compensation (the "holdback", set per platform configuration) may be withheld at first release and paid out only after a minimum live-duration requirement is met — for example, the sponsored content remains live, unedited, and compliant (including required #ad disclosure) for a defined period. If the content is removed, materially altered, or made non-compliant within that period, the holdback may be reduced or forfeited.
5. Payout Timing
Once a payout is released, the time for funds to reach a creator’s bank account is determined by Stripe and the creator’s country, bank, and payout schedule (typically a few business days). Amilere does not control Stripe settlement timing.
6. Disputes & Dispute Bond
During the challenge window, either party may dispute the deliverable. Raising a dispute may require a refundable dispute bond proportional to the amount in dispute (subject to a minimum), which is returned to the prevailing party and may be forfeited by a party that disputes in bad faith. Disputed funds remain held until the dispute is resolved through the platform process.
7. Refunds & Cancellations
If a deal is cancelled before the creator begins work, the brand is refunded the held funds (the service fee may be refundable depending on the stage of the deal). If a deliverable is not provided or fails verification and no valid dispute changes the outcome, held compensation is returned to the brand per the resolution. Refunds are processed back through Stripe to the original payment method.
8. Chargebacks
Payment disputes (chargebacks) initiated through a brand’s card issuer are handled under Stripe’s processes and these Payout Terms. Initiating a chargeback for a deal that was delivered and verified may be treated as a breach of these Terms.
9. Currency
Deals are funded and paid out in the currency supported by Stripe for your account. Any currency conversion is handled by Stripe at its applicable rates and fees.
10. Taxes & Tax Forms
Creators are responsible for their own taxes on payouts. To receive payouts, creators complete Stripe onboarding, which may require tax information (W-9/W-8). Stripe issues tax forms (such as a 1099-K) where required by law. Amilere does not provide tax advice.
11. Eligibility
To receive payouts, a creator must have a valid, verified Stripe connected account in a supported country and must satisfy Stripe’s identity and compliance (KYC) requirements. Payouts may be paused if Stripe flags an account for review.
